How do you schedule the STSC exam at Pearson VUE?
You schedule the STSC through BCSP. Once the exam is paid, log into My Profile at bcsp.org and follow the single sign-on link to Pearson VUE to choose a center, date and time. A local test center cannot book a BCSP exam for you.

From approval to a booked seat
Get approved
BCSP reviews your application once it is submitted and paid. The application itself is covered in the STSC application steps.
Buy the exam
If you didn't buy it with the application, choose Purchase Exam in My Profile: a single exam or the Exam Bundle. Prices are on the STSC exam cost sheet.
Ask for accommodations at the same time
Email accommodations@bcsp.org when you purchase, before you schedule. BCSP warns that a late request may affect whether the accommodation is in place at the center.
Read the Exam Authorization Letter
BCSP emails it after purchase. Check that the name on it matches your photo ID exactly.
Pick a seat at Pearson VUE
Follow the link from My Profile and choose a center, date and time. For phone help, BCSP points to Pearson VUE's BCSP page.
Keep the confirmation
Save every appointment email until the exam is over. What to bring is on the STSC test-day rules sheet.
The one-year window
Approval opens a one-year window to take and pass the exam (BCSP STSC page, as of October 2026). BCSP's advice is to schedule ahead of the date you want.
If the year is running short, a one-time $100 extension can be bought in the last 60 days and adds a year. Let the window close without it and BCSP has you reapply as a new candidate under the requirements current at that time.

Phone booking, accommodations and onsite groups
Can I schedule the STSC by phone?
Yes, through Pearson's BCSP contact line (pearson.com/bcsp/contact, per BCSP's Complete Guide as of October 2026). A call to a local test center will not get you booked.
When should I request testing accommodations?
When you buy the exam, before scheduling with Pearson. Requests go to accommodations@bcsp.org (BCSP Complete Guide, as of October 2026).
Can my company host the STSC at our site?
In the U.S., yes. BCSP's Onsite Exam Delivery serves groups of 5 to 30 candidates and is booked at least 60 days ahead (bcsp.org, as of October 2026).
